Hi,
I want to add a Customer Defined field to a table and display it on a multi-occurrence display session. It shows as disabled field. Is it possible to make it enabled and all saving simple text data?

We're using LN 10.7 on premise. When I add a cdf it will be shown in all detail and multi-occ sessions if I do not select the hide option in the cdf configuration.
This works most of the time. However sometimes, LN will not show the new field. Then it has to be enabled in the mask personalisation. I think it happens, when I do use an older personalisation or a DEM role is used by the user (with a personalisation copied into the DEM role).

If the standard session has no option to change the standard fields (and that seems to be the case because you write 'a multi-occurrence display session'), the CDF will also remain a read-only field.

Yes.. the Project Control sessions are all display sessions which just displays data. The customer wanted that a comment field is added so it can be used for reporting!

Then you can create a custom form command with a session extension to start a new session to update the CDF.
