Would a company have to pay each time for the standard sources? or once you pay the fee- when you upgrade you would get the new sources at no extra charge ?

Nick this depends entirely on your source code agreement with baan, we are not a reseller however we are allowed to have the source (B40B2) and we are about to migrate to B40_c4 with free source. However we've been told that B5.0 won't be for free as it's a new release entirely.
