Hi All,

I have a query, kindly help me.
I have a maintain session in which i have entered few records in sequence. The thing is i dont want to delete the record in between.
for Ex: seq |amt(from)| amount(to)
1 | 1 |5
2 | 6 | 7
3 | 8 | 10.

So here i dont want to delete the sequence 2?

Regards,
Vamsi.

On what basis, you don't want to delete 2,is it because it is coming between 1 & 3??

More information is needed. Because if you enter a few records hit save, then you could mark record 1 and 3 and hit the delete button in 4c4. That would delete those two records. Just don't give a user the delete range functionality.

If you are using dal then in before.destroy.object check mark record is having greater than sequence and also less then sequence.if present then give dalhookerror.

first of all take out the maximum and the minimum sequence and then check whether the record exists between these two limits. If Yes, then return DALHOOKERROR.
