How to get The first day of the month and The last day of the month?

with num.to.date functions you can get day, month, year
then replace day = 01
and to date.to.num() you pass day, month and year you will get first day of the month.

for last day add 1 to the month and pass to date.to.num() will return firat day of next month just -1 from the date will give you last day of previous month.

adjust code for if you are finding last date of December as adding 1 to December will give wrong results.
