Hello all,
Problem of Baan ERP 5.0c
I wanna change the domain tcemm.clus from 3 to 6 digits, but it´s coordinated with the item segmentation of the domain cpitem in the common parameters.

a) When I change the segmented domains of cpitem, this is not working in tcibd0500m000 "Item Segmentation"

b) If I change the item segmentation by table maintenance, it effects not the cluster field.

Does anybody know, how to change the cluster field of the planning items? The aim is, to have the same digits like the warehouse numbers, to make it easier for the users.

regards

Ulrich

If u find that this domain is used in lots of places , then its not advisable to change it. If it is for a specific session you want this , create a new domain or try to change the display in the form.

Be more specific I can help.

Hope it helps

The problem is not to change the domain of tcemm.clus.

But the item segmentation is special.

It is at 50 digits long (string)

the item segmentation of domain cpitem in parameter common says:

digit 1-3 = Cluster
digit 4-12 = project number
digit 13-50 = item number

Originally I want to change the cluster part of the whole item code from 3 to 6 digits.

But I can´t change the item segmentation of the cluster part.

I can change the domain tcemm.clus but it never changes the cluster part in the item segmentation which is a must.

Have you ever tried to change the cluster part in the item code of an planning item in Baan ERP 50c ? Try it! That is the problem.
