Hello,

Can someone please tell us how to store images in LN.

\We are on Cloud and using LN 10.5

We want to use these images on IR Reports but it is to be stored in LN Server.

We can see that there is a session ttadv2570m000 in LN (Additional Files)
Can we store any images here.
If yes, how is it possible.

Hi Sangeeta,

You can import images using Import Additional files(ttadv2270m000) session and use these images in IR Report. In IR Report you need to add image from Toolbox and select Source Type as "Report Expression" and give report expression as tt_getAdditionalFile(ParamDisplayValue('datafile'), 'ta', 'gen', 'image_name.gif')

Thank you very much for your response.
Can you please let me know the exact steps for uploading the file in this session.
Can I upload the image directly or do I need to upload it in {BSE}/application path ?
I tried a lot but I am not able to upload the file in the session Not sure if i am missing any step.
If i add a new record in this session, it does not take .gif or .png file. It takes it as a normal file.

You need to keep all images on server in any folder not necessary in $BSE/Application. Session ttadv2270m000 will upload all images at once to mentioned package and module.

We have imported logo images with gif extension in ta-gen(Package-Module) with same session and with help of report expression fetching these images on IR Report.
