I have a file of syntax for ultraedit. but in the txt format. and for notepad ++ it has to be in the xml format. can at whom - the N is for notepad ++?

You need to create properties for Baan/LN tools programming explicitly for Notepad++. WScite has a properties file already defined, not sure about notepad.

Its simple though just need to copy and paste all the functions and keywords into the options for the customized language. I guess its called User Defined Language.

attached a XML for 4GL syntax in Notepad++

- Rename *.txt to *.xml
- Import and save
Afterwards you're able to choose 4GL in NP++

In the root directory of NPP you have to put userdefinelang.xml and the functionlist.xml.
In the plugins\api you have to put the baan.xml file which includes the definition of baan functions.

I did an error uploading the files.
