A user in our company forgot his password, I changed the password in Unix
but now when he tries to login " Connection with server lost, Start BW again to reconnect" error is coming,
I dont know what is the problem, and How to resolve it

Hi Issacraj,
Please check if the user home directory is set correctly, if the home directory is not there, please create one with user as owner and group as bsp, this will resolve your issue.

but i am very new to baan, so kindly tell me where to check for the home directory ( in user management :confused: ) and how to create it

Is this ln or 4c4? Anyway the first thing I would check is the client .bwc file they are using to log in with. Make sure they did not save that password in the .bwc file on the client.

Check his access to database. BOth OS-login and database login are required for any Baan-login.

Hi,
It may be in under $BSE or /usr in unix. If this is Windows, please check the BW is correctly pointed to the server.
