Has anyone had success using pin feed printers on Windows using bwprint?

yes, it's possible to use them.

Anything special you had to do to make this work. We are using Okidata Microline pin feed printers.

I have set up a 3 inch label and the printable area BaaN is allowing me use is 1.22222 in. I cannot seem to get past this problem.

We set up the printer as simply as possible within windows, we used the generic text printer.
Than within the properties of the printer you can find a option for printer commands (if I am correct, I am trying to translate this from dutch). There you can define a start sequence which has to be send to the printer before it starts to print and a end sequence. Similair like you have in the printinf files in unix that baan uses.
