I am facing a serious problem and I am not able to built any reports due to the same. When I try to create a report for a print session using Report Generator it gives an error. And even if I try to duplicate an existing report it still gives error.

Following is the error:

[MR_E_READING] Cannot read session or object (ottadv31301)
OR
[MR_E_READING] Cannot read session or object (ottadv31301)


Description:

Lasterror : 2 (The system cannot find the file specified.)
Errno : 2 (No such file or directory)
BdbErrno : 0
ExtraInfo : session: "ttadv3130s000";object: "ottadv3130"; function: "unknown" ; company number: 0
Message :
No definition in definition file for sopen(F_OBJ:ottadv3130, ottadv3130)




Please help ASAP.

Check if the Tools object exists at the path -

$BSE/tools/tt7.6_a/ottadv/oadv31301

Hi NPRao,

I solved the issue. The problem was quite serious though. Somehow the file

$BSE/tools/tt7.6_a/ottadv/oadv31301 was deleted.

I retrieved it from by backup and then did the re-licencing of the server.

And it works now !!
