The Baan solution that we implemented includes Common, Manufacturing and Logistics. I have a base menu structure that includes these 3 modules but I want to create customized menus for individual users based on this menu. Is it best just to copy the structure to a new name and delete menu items I don't want the user to see and make that the startup menu for the user?

Are there any other menu setup editing tools available other than going in through baan tools.

Hi,

You can try DEM (Dynamic Enterprise Modeler). It's a little painful to set up at first but very easy to change and manage later.

You can create menu in session Maintain Menus (ttadv3130m000)
and assign new menu in session Maintain User Date (ttaad2100m000), but this is inconveniently for many number of users.

I think, if u will make many different Menus (mor than 10), you should use the DEM. For less than 10 you should make different Menus with the session ttadv3160m000.

I don't like the DEM very much. It's slow a little bit painful to create it.
