What is the secret ? :)
I have tdsls400.ddat standard label that is 21 chars. I promoted the label to our production VRC and changed to a 17 char label. Compiled etc as i've done before.
I wanted to keep the label name the SAME as to not need to reprogram all our reports etc.
Since it is shorter than the standard label, do you think I can find a way to make the table def's etc accept it ? It always want to go back to the stnd 21 character assignment because it is longer.
Is there a secret to this or do I have to report to changing my ddat field to a custom label name instead of a standard named replacement ?
