Hi...

I have an issue where I am trying to pull certain text out of a header text in our sales quotation file. The location of the text may vary within the text field, but will always consistently start with the characters "FLX". Ultimately the user is going to be putting the data in a new field on the header, but for past data reporting I need to try to pull it out of the texts.

Does anyone have any ideas for me?

You could use the text.to.buf() function to move the text into a two-dimensional array ( http://www.baanboard.com/programmers_manual_baanerp_help_functions_text_fields_text_to_buf ). Then, using a loop and the pos() function you can find where your "FLX" text resides.
