Dear ERP Enterprise fans,

Anyone has a problem on the ssrs2008 r2 line width? i have set all the line on my report with 1 pts but it seems some of the lines are very thick and inconsistent on the PDF display?.

Thanks,

Roy

Could be caused by rows that have both a top border and a bottom border. MS did a better job in Excel.

Hello JaapJD,

I already set the row to have bottom border only.

the strange thing is, the bold line only appeared in pdf, it's not happening in the report viewer.

if I use the excel the end user will able to edit it, do you know another alternative?

thanks,

Roy

I didn't mean to use Excel instead of PDF, but just to note that different MS products behave different.
Different thickness of the lines in PDF is a known problem, but maybe this is a solution: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en/sqlreportingservices/thread/62901f30-aa84-4aa6-9e86-892d7c30bd33.

Hello JaapJD,

i've tried the method on the link, it's pretty good as it solve some of the line inconsistency, but not all unfortunately.

i noticed also that if you combine the layout such as table and textfield adjacent together, the border is not consistent....

Thanks,

Roy
