Hi All,

i am using after.field for tdpur041.pono in a report. but for every change in the pos no in purchase order, the report is printed on the new page.
is it that by default the report will be printed in new page, or should i change any settings/modifications in layout.

Any ideas are welcome.
Thanking you in advance.

Hi,
I the edit report layout option "New page" option would be ticked. un-tickking it may solve ur problem.

Try it out.

Hi Ranjan,
the option is not ticked.

should the sort fields be from same table..?

i have used tdpur045.reno & tdpur041.pono has sort fields.
1. if tdpur045.reno has a sort sequence of 1 then all the lines are printed in a single page but the pos nos are separated by gap which is not defined

2. if tdpur041.pono has sort sequence as 1 the lines are printed in new page.

can anybody explain the reason for this type of report

Have you checked "New page" option of other layouts.
If there is an layout on field tdpur045.reno with "New page" option selected,
then you can expect a page break when you change sort order on tdpur041.pono
