I am looking for tools documents on application development (creating sessions etc)

Probably not what you want to hear, but I think Baan expects developers to learn Baan Tools through training classes. Even if you were able to obtain the training class documentation, it's not all that good by itself in my opinion.

I have not come across any textbooks about Baan development.
