Hi,
I manage to telnet to Baan session using telnet on a DOS wireless handheld terminal
The problem I face is that the screen is small on the terminal and need to use cursor to move around, not practical.
Is there any software that will do a screen mapping or formatter.

Another problem is that the Purchase Receipt session the screen size is 132 column instead of standard 80 columns.

Thanks for any help.

Hi Richard,

we tried something similar here. We simply created a very small menue that fitted on the screen and changed each session available in this menue so that the form fitted on the handheld screen as well.
I don't know of any way to map or resize the screen. Usually you should create a new session anyway, as the application on a handheld should be less complicated (contain less input fields etc.) and easy-to-use (otherwise what would be the point in using a handheld terminal anyway?)

You can always [ask company to] buy a new handheld, one of those with larger screen sizes (640 x whatever), on this one a terminal with 132 columns should fit just fine :)
