I'm not sure what you are expecting. The BO Integration Kit and Driver is not supported for LN, and all BO support for all versions of Baan finishes with XIR2. However, you can use Crystal with Baan using standard ODBC database drivers - eg MS SQL Server Native client. Obviously there are disadvantages with enumerated fields, field descriptions, and text, but the reporting performance is excellent.

Infor is saying that they have an ODBC driver for Baan that can be used with third party software such as Crystal Reports. I don't have much information about it. Our sales rep told us to file a case with Infor to get help with it.

We're using it exactly that way (through ODBC) and it works fine. AFAIK there are some problems with Date/Time fields but everything else works properly. Besides, you can use any other application (even MS Access) to connect to Baan the same way...
