In development tools, I have created a session with a form, tested and am ready to add it to a menu. I opened the "Maintain Menus" (ttadv3160) session, and queried for the Menu the users want the new session to be under... tdilc40002001 "Outbound Movement". I copied to "Current P-VRC", I then edited the menu form, adding a "Form Field" with type of Session. Gave the new session name, set the selection code to be the next in order, and "checked" the "Active" option. Saved my changes, and generated a "Menu Dump". I converted to Runtime Data Dictionary for (Forms and Menus) for package "td" and Menu "ilc40002001". Exited Baan, logged back in, the menu option is displayed, but when I select it, the following error message is returned "Activating subsession not possible". Can someone tell me what I missed?

Thank you in advance.

In maintain session, check have u clicked on 'Main session' option or not.
If u havnt clicked on that option, then ur session would be sub session. and a subsession can be called by main session. can not called directly.

l i b mr ducks!

Thank you for the reply. That was it, I hadn't checked the 'Main Session' option in Maintain Sessions. Suppose I should have understood what the error message meant. Don't I feel stupid!

Thanks again!
