don't use the HR (Human Readable) option for the barcode.
Only bars will be printed.

Thanks for your reply. But it is first time I am working with barcodes. Could you tell me where/how to set that option? Also I would like to add that I want this done for a single report - not for all my reports using bar code. Thanks again.

Not sure how you have your system setup up - so kind of hard to answer. In our printinf files we have barcode_dir set to hplj4 - which in turn has 2 scripts type1 and type2. We typically use type 2 - in this script I believe is where I would make any barcode type changes. I do not know about other versions of baan - only 4c4. Not sure if this helps or not. We also use UNIX print queues.

if you search the Forum with "barcode", you'll find a lot of information.

If you have a special request, be more specific about the way you'll create the barcode.
E.g. Outputdevice aso.
