We are geting error “ Maximum Number of Users reached “ and
We can not login in Baan

As on date only 12 users are working online in baan and we have 15 users license.

can any one help me out

clear not used licenses with licmon6.1 -c or check the actual used licenses with licmon6.1 -u.

Hi shailesh,

On windows you can also stop the licence deomon. You can start baanmanager on the server, and then stop and start licence process.
If I'm not mistaken all ready loged in users will be OK, only new users won't get in when they try to login during the licence deamon is not active.

This will reset all licences, as soon as people start a session or login again they are using a licence again.

sometimes I find that the clear option does not free up unused licences.

Easy method to solve this is to restart the machine.... :)

is your baan Apps + License is on same Machine ??.
may be the license is not freed even after user has closed BW client.??

Suggestion :
1.Check with infor support for latest porting sets.
2.Write a batch program to reset license
3.schedule it in windows to run it at a given period of time say
a)10:00
b)15:00
c)18:00
d)23:00
e)03:00

Note : If any of the Users working night - Restarting the server at that point of time may not be feasable.
