Dear All,

In Baan IVc4 the paper clip icon is added to the toolbar on installing a solution released by Infor. If ECM is also implemented then through the paper clip icon we can connect to ECM directly.

However this paper clip icon functionality is enabled only for some hand picked standard sessions.

Now if I need to simulate the same for some customization sessions, how do I do it. Could anyone let me know the solution approach for the same ?

I do not recall seeing this functionality in 4c4 before. I do know at one point I could add a button to the tool bar, but only standard baan stuff - nothing like this. Probably searching for "adding to toolbar" would return several threads on the topic. I have never found a method to make this useful in 4c4. And if you figure it out please post it back here.

If you are talking about the attachment button(see the attachment).
The few times I have seen this, was on costumers that implemented ODM functionallity.

Thanks for your inputs. I will check up the add to toolbar option and see whether that can resolve this issue.

Paperclip icon can be enabled through ODM or ECM setup. I need the ECM setup.
