How to find Customer Name using default search button. The user may put full or part of Customer Name. It has to be shown in Display Session

Try the following session :

1.tccom1510s000 - this is a sub session , you can copy to cust and make it main session.
2.tccom1501m000 - select order in menu and select 2 option. then you can search customers in display session by typing part name(from starting name) or full name of customer.

Note : this works for me ,let us know which version of Baan you are using.

There are a lot of sessions in Baan IV on which you can search by the alternative key (usually the first part of description or name) of the customer, supplier or item instead of the code.

Just try by tiping the initial part of the name followed by a comma.
