Hi every body, this is my first thread

We have some trouble to execute a query by a normal user. We get a message error "You have note authorization for a text group fmod of the query"

first, i gave the authorization on adv module but the result is the same.
In the second step, I gave the authorization on the sql module with the appropriate package and the result is also the same.

In the last step, I create the fmod text group but nothing changes.

Is there anything to do elsewhere ?

Thanks for your help

We're on baanC4/oracle8.

Hi,

Did you authorize the user for a textgroup into company 000??

Hi,

I guess you have to check few of the authorizations -

1. check the role templates they are linked to, if they have the authorizations on the tt-sql module.

2. also check package/table authorizations by company.

3. check the text group authorization and if that particular text group is set up in that company and also listed in the text group authorization session with a permission of update.

If all these settings are properly set and a runtime is made, logout and log back in for the effective changes and verify if that fixes the problem.

Thank you for your rapid response, NG and Rao. The problem is solved.

As you said, I authorize the user for a textgroup into company 000 and give it the authorizations on ttadv3180m00 and ttadv3480m000.

Thanks a lot
