Help ! Help !

I am so hopeing that someone can help with this...I have a scripting Problem.

I have a purchased part on a Material Sheet, tipcs110.item, and I need to find the parent of it's Calculation Code, tipcs110.ccpc , the grandparent of the item tipcs110.item, that I am reviewing.
There could be multiple parents that the particular part is used in on this budget and I need to have the one that this calculation part belongs to.

I can read forward parent to child with script, but how do I read back wards to find the parents, grandparents, great grandparents.


Does anyone have a snippet of code to share?
