need some help, after i import some customization, the edit script function cannot start. please advice. thanks

This could mean that you do not have the script. It was asked before here:

You can check the dump.l of the dump you imported and check if it contains the source.

the script present and can edit it directly in the path.

the original customization are on a unix box at different location so i export it out to check, but i don't have a test baan4c on unix here, so i have to load it in the window base baan.

Also make sure that you are in the right VRC before you try to edit the script.

Did you check the settings in session Maintain Development Parameters by User {ttadv0110m000}? The field to check would be "Starting Editor On" (Local System).

thx george and sukesh, as you mention the editor need to start from local, the dev parameter are the setting giving this problem.
