We’re working in Reger and will analyze baan data in Excel. Is it possible to print our data to the device XML and use this data on an easy way in excel? Which tools do we need to work with the xml file? Has anybody experience with the device XML?

We are on Reger ERP too, and it works for us. You have to check with support/documentation for the Tools Porting Set and patch level.

You can search the already discussed threads with the keyword search "XML".

I think I have a correct XML device and I can generate my report in xml format. But I have no experience with xml, and I don't know which tool I need to analyze my xml-report. Do I need always an extra stylesheet to use an xml report or which steps/files are extra required for end users.

Can you also give pro's or contra's with printing to an excel device?
