Hi

I am copying a Menu, through Copy to current package VRC functionality. The menu gets copied but it's having any random description than the source Menu. The source Menu doesn't have any Label linked to it.

I am on LN FP3 environment.

In LN all descriptions (session, menus, reports) are labels. Try to compile labels in the new pvrc.

The old Menu field is showing correct description and as i said I am copying a Menu (Copy to current package VRC), hence I don't think compilation shouldn't be an issue. Also, it picks random description (if you copy then delete and then copy again, every time you gets a new description).

Ensure that you are logged in with a package combination that contains both the sourc- and target vrc.

Package combination is different but how does that matter ? The same was working fine in 5c as well as LN FP1

Hi,

In LN it is mandatory that a label is liked with your menu , If the source menu has no label (copied from other baan ??). then try to recreate it so that a label is created.

Go to "Maintain Labels" and search for context type: Menus and Menu Fields, insert the appropriate label and compile...
