This indicates that the reference table is locked.
You can either wait until the lock is released or
remove the lock yourself.


Can somebody tell me where I can find information about how to "remove the lock yourself"?

[No user is complaining, so I guess it does not stop the systems. But it sure clutters up the log file and detracts from attending to some real problem.]

You can chech also on section locks, using the Oracle enterprise Manger to remove locks that inside baan you can´t see.
