I have seen a few examples of how to work out the differences between to date, but still at a loss trying to code it. :mad:

My problem is to calculate the number of days from a utc date - tssoc200.pstm to today (report run date)

I am just interested in getting the number of days

Hi,

You can achieve it in various ways, but the easiest way I can think of:

long num.pstm, no.days, time, ret

ret = utc.to.local(tssoc200.pstm, num.pstm, time)
no.days = date.num() - num.pstm

no.days will contain then the number of days since tssoc200.pstm till today.
