i m a student doing training in Baan.i am given task to make some modifications in Shortage Report.but i dont know how to open the report coding,how to do modifications and then compille the new report and the to use it.plz anybody tell me the whole procedure or steps to do this

Hi,

I have merged the threads. You will have to go to Maintain Reports (ttadv2530m000) and click on edit script. You can find "Maintain Reports" under "Application Development" -> "Reports" -> "Maintenance".

There are many reports who does not have any code! All the information in the report will be found in the Layout.

What report are you trying to modify?

As I mentioned, some reports do not have any code. You will need to go to "Maintain Report Layouts" (by clicking on the layout button in Maintain Reports) and then edit the layout you want.

However, you can use the report script if you needed it. You will find some helpful information about the report script sections & structure in the following link:
