Hi all,

I need to find the decimal separator that will be used when I print a certain report. So I searched for it according to the current language of baan in the table ttaad110.

But it doesn't always work this way.. I'm facing a case right now where a user of language x which is not english is printing a report that exists in language x. But the decimal separator in the report output is not as the one in ttaad110 for the current language !!!

Does anyone has an idea why is this happening ?

Thanks in advance,
Hiba

Have you checked to see if it is one of the generic formats in ttaad106?

Actually I didn't.

How do I know that it is one of the generic formats ?
When does the report use the decimal separator in ttaad106 and when does it use the one in ttaad110 ?

I do not know the answer. All I know is if I do not have the generic setup for the unit then things like outbound can generate a ton of warning messages. This is how I know to setup the unit. Sorry I can't help other than that. I asked baan about this once - how does this work with tcmcs0101m000, domain rounding and these generic units in the A&D environment and never got an answer.

Hi,

As the help says (attached...) the one in ttaad110 is only applicable for figures other than amounts or prices...

Thats interesting - is this from a 4 or 5 system? You help is different than what I see.

You clicked on session help. I clicked on the field help option and then clicked on the field...
