Hi all,

I have installed ERP LN 6.1 with one user demo license for 30 days.
When i try to maintain domains it gives the following error ... Current package VRC Unknown. The user baan is given standard package combination.
The other tools sessions such as Audit management, user management etc works perfectly fine.
It doesnt allow me to define the table definition and to create domains.

Is this somethng to do with the license and validation?
also when i create a new user, it doesnt allow me to login, it gives no authorisation error..

Please anyone can guide me with these respect.

Try using session ttadv0140m000(Change Current Package VRC of user) to set a package VRC (which is different from package combination)

I guess there is a problem in converting the users to database users?
Have you completed that step?
does it give any errors? or it converts new user to database user successfully? (Not sure about BIVc4 but for B50c it is ttdba0915m000)

Can you tell why do we have to change the current package vrc of the user. What is its significance?

The current package VRC is a development parameter. When you create a user, you indicate the startup company to work in. Similarly, as a developer, you must also indicate the package VRC you are working (customizing) in. This helps prevent copying, modifying or deleting standard objects.
Just as you have production, test and development companies, the package VRCs keep standard, production and deveopment objects separate.
