i know how to Import/Export the Complete Data Dictionary in BaanIV or LN6...i know how to do it...but i just want your guidance so that i dont do any mistakes...plese let me know about precautions that one should take at the time of Import/Export of DD...or if you hav some document/link of it plz send it to me on: dilipk.pandey@rediffmail.com...please help me as soon as u can

Rather than delete the thread you could share the answer with the group. That may help someone else in the future. As it is I do not work with importing/exporting the data dictionary.

If you want to export complete datadictionary then you need not to worried about , just take the VRC and press continue. This will create the dump at your desired path.

Remember if u create dump for any particular components always click on export based on option and select parent vrc into compare with VRC field.

here is something that i did and want to share it on board (sorry mark for i should have done it b4...)...actually i did not get any docs for import/export and dumping process so i did it by myself....hope it will help some of you a lot...there may be some mistakes or may be i have missed something so plz use this document carefully...but whatever i did successfully that i have written...
