Hi

When using ttstpconv the temporary file is being created on $BSE directory on the client machine which is getting messy. I thought all the temporary print files are created on $BSE_TMP.

Is there any way I can find out where is finding this path? And know how to set it to a alternative desired path?

The parameters given are::
Device Type: Rewrite file
4GL program: ttstpconv
Arguement: RTF:WINWORD.EXE
Path: c:\Program Files\baan\tmp\
Change Allowed - NO
No. of lines - 66

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

Ash

Check your registry entry. I have the attached on my client and the files come out in the tmp directory.

Hi Mark
Thanks for your response.

I have checked the registry settings (on the Baan Local Client machine) and it is pointing to %BSE%/tmp (Attached the screenshot).

So I guess there is something else that is missing.

Any help appreciated.

What version of the client are you using? We use to have that problem and I am not sure what fixed it.

There is no need to hard code the client directories in decvice setting .

U can have following settings on device and it should work .

argument - RTF:winword.exe %s
path - rtf

All the client settings are taken care off by Baan.

Check this thread (http://www.baanboard.com/baanboard/showthread.php?t=22474&highlight=BSE_TMP) out. Not sure it helps. We used to have this same problem where certain files did not come out on the client in the c:\program files\baan\tmp directory. Not sure what fixed it along the way.
