Hi All , I can say that I am expert on Baan Tools but , At the part of Baan Setup and configuration , I have no more idea and information. We use Oracle 8.1.7 and HP UX 11.i and Baan IV c3 . I want to learn backoffice of BAAN. How can I build my baan on these servers and other systems not like unix ? THat is why I am searching BAAN BOOK at expert level . or can anyone give me these information ? setup , tuning, building Baan. I want to learn more .
I found baan books on amazon , but their contents are very simple level and reviewer didn't good marks for them .

Please do search the threads before posting, the topic of Baan books has been covered several times and the conclusion is always the same: there are none good books of Baan available.

Search the threads for "training" or "administration" to get an idea of what exists but, in the end, you will come to the conclusion of:

- there are no books
- get some decent training on the area you want as starting point
- get training on Operating Systems (try to cover Windows and a UNIX)
- get training on a database
- install a test database + Baan system
- download the Baan quick guides and whatever Baan related documents you come across (uguides and so on)
- play around with your test system (heavy play)

And also search the threads for the above mentioned topics.
Baanboard is a good place to get information on topics that cannot be found easily or get the contacts that can provide that information thru training.
