we are on baan5 with unix.and my client is on windows.
just I want to know the sequence of steps to achieve barcoding.
Bcoz I tried with QG1307.but I couldnot achieve.I can see only white space on the report
what I did is
1)in bse\lib\barcode\hplj4 we have type files type01 thru type04
2)and am able to print barcode test report on my printer means my printer is
able to print
3)in report field I put barcode value as 1 (type 01)
4) I did not write any code(I hope it is not required in unix )

but when am checking the report in print preview I can see blank space
but when i right click on field(blank field) the menu option barcode EAN ratio
is enabled.

doubts:
1) can I see the barcode in the preview or device as D option?

can anybody pls let me know the exact steps?

Are you printing using UNIX print queues? Or are you printing using bwprint?

I am printing thru bwprint.i.e the general printing for normal report printing.

Then check this link (http://www.baanboard.com/baanboard/showthread.php?t=12205&highlight=barcode+bwprint) out. There are other threads from the search(barcide and bwprint), but this looked like the best. Since we print directly from UNIX print queuse I would not be much help.
