I am setting up a new first free order number series for incoming EDI messages, which I am setting against incoming 810 msg in tcedi0111m000 to generate a s.o. number.

I have entered a new series for "inbound orders" as series 80 and first free number starting at 1 in session tcmcs0147m000 (maintian first free numbers)

I tried to create a s.o. using this new series to test if it generated a number ok to the screen but get the message 'order series not defined' - have I missed something out?

I noticed that the tcmcs0147m000 session will not give me access to the def. company field for the series type of 'inbound orders', but does give me access to the comany field when creating a new series for 'sales orders.' - I am wondering if this is the problem.
