Hi everybody,

I MUST use an old printer (Epson ex-800 / continuous module) to print some labels.
The printer can print only one format, so I would like to know how to set up a non A4 format before printing a simple SQL query.

Thank you in advance.

I think you mean how to set up such a papertype and link this to a device?

In that case:

- Enter a new papertype (ttaad3110m000)
- Set up the fonts for this new papertype (ttaad3111m000)
* notice that h & w determine how you data will be presented
- Link new papertype to (new) device (ttaad3100m000)

I hope this helps ?

Danny

Hi -
Also on those old continuous feeds, sometimes you have to set the label length on the printer. If you have a manual, this will tell you. Otherwise, you can usually get to the info by pressing control keys on the printer itself, it will print out the settings needed. Usually something like holding the line feed and paper feed buttons together to bring or print up a little menu.
