Hello,

I try to make a form where the value of a field has to be checked that exists in partners table.

To do that, in table fields definition ( of the new table ) I have put the reference to table tccom100 and ‘mandatory’ in reference mode.

In spite of that, when I fill up this field on the form, no checking is done.

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

My first thought is - Did you convert to run time on both the new table and the tccom100 table?

Your thought was right, after converting to run time on both tables, re-compiling form and session and logging out and logging in again, now the form works properly.

As I am self-taught person about Baan programming, there are some good rules that I should know and regretfully I learn from trying several times or asking someone else.
