After creating a new domain session "Convert to R.D.D" gives a message "Serious error in calling bdbreconfig; exit". Does anybody know what can be wrong?

please check, whether you have wright-permissions for your current directory (Unix). But there are several other possibilities, so please give some more details. Did you look into the log-files?

I just ran into this error today on our development server. The permissions had changed on the log.reconfig file. Once this was fixed I could reconfig my table. So like Gerhard said check the permissions.

:) Problem is solved.

My Baan (Baan ERP in NT ) was installed in directory
c:\Program Files\Baan (default in instalation wizard)
Then bdbreconfig builds a path to temporary files las
c:\Program Files\Baan\Tmp
and cannot open it because of blank character inside !

I reinstalled BaaN to c:\baan directory and bdbreconfig is OK now !
