It's possible to use with baan other project version control system? For example TeamSource.

BaanERP on Unix comes integrated with RCS. I do not know why they did not leave it to the users to use a different version control system on Unix or NT.

As for version control on Baan IV, program scripts should be easy to manage with a good process in place. Anyone already done this?

Sometime back, when baan was really doing good, this was a project proposal to integrate with some third party RCS like clearcase especially for windows based clients. Later they didnt complete it as baan went into troubles.

Ravi,

Call me sometime. I would like to bounce some ideas for implementing version control on BaanERP for NT.

Do you mean version control? Ravi and I had a chat after this (http://www.baanboard.com/baanboard/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1816&highlight=version+control) thread. He is looking into development of version control with BaanERP on NT. May be you should hook up with him.

The above two threads were merged from a different posting. I am hoping that there is enough need for creating a version control system that works with Baan IV and BaanERP on NT. Good luck folks.

Hi all,

I found some old messages regarding a possible
integration between ClearCase and BaaN IV for
version control.

Has anyone have any news about this matter ????

Any light would be appreciated.
