I can see a menu Item called " Extend field" in every session under options menu.When I click on that one small arrow is coming then when I put on one field am getting a small window with some values ?Can any body throw more light on this??

Hey Jack,

this works for field values which cannot be viewed completely in the form field because the field is too short. By using this option and clicking on the field to be extended, a new display form pops up and shows you the complete field.

And: for date fields you can get their internal value that way.
