Hi,

I have managed to send messages through a Baan session using the bshcmd command. But the message is not super-imposed on the screen of the user if the user is using some other program (for example browsing internet). The message is available but unless the user clicks on Baan session in task bar, it is not seen. I would like the message to be seen on screen even if the user is using some other program and Baan screens have been minimised. Is there a way out for this. Please let me know. The command that i am using is as follows;

bshcmd -M "message" <PID>

Hej,

are you using local installations of baan or are you running an additional software like citrix?

Hi,

I am using local installation of Baan for sending the message.

... in that case I have no other solution for you. Maybe someone else does.

You may want to try Baan2Baan - Baan Instant Messenger product.
A tool from Nazdaq Ltd. (http://www.nazdaq.co.il)

See attached PowerPoint of the product.
