When we are maintaining text in standard baan sessions, the screen opens a text editor. We want the screen to open in notepad so that we can copy / paste from other window based applications.

Is there any way where we can open standard session text screens in notepad.

it's user dependent (for creating text): with session tttxt1113m000.

How is the text group linked to the editor. I see that the text group for this particular user is notepad.

You can maintian the text groups to be edited in external editors (notepad) in the session tttxt1116m000. When you edit a text having the text group maintained in this session, the text would be opened in notepad.

Sai,

Just a note of warning. We have had problems when cutting and pasting text from word documents into notepad. You may not notice it on the paste, but when you print you will get a lot of garbage. Just something you may want to be on the look out for.
