We have a strange problem of persistent 107 errors popping up when Baan communicates with Vertex thro API and my aim of opening up this discussion is to primarily gain insight into the way API generates the message key for the message queue that it uses to communicate with Baan.

I have tried to explain the whole process thro the aid of this Word doc attached to this thread, for purposes of clarity and better understanding.

We have had the same problem occur and Baan support had us modify a couple of db_resource settings to:

LOCK_RETRY = "10*100,10*500,10*1000"
ORA_TIMEOUT = {0,60,60,60,0} (We use Oracle for our DB)

This corrected the problem. Have you searched the Baan on-line knowledge base? It records a lot of previous solutions too.
