We have added new index based on Signal code, item description in tiitm001 but would like to change it in the session tiitm0502m000 too. The problem is that the signal code is on 3rd form and if you press Ctrl-F on 1st from you can see only Item description.
I have been told that it can be fixed by adding signal code somewhere into 1st form but it does not work anyway.

Yeah, that should work!! If you add an index on signal key, I assume you indeed want it sorted and viewed by signal key. So just go to the forms, reomve signal key from the 3rd form, and add it to the first form as the first field. It should be 'input' if you want to have all the search commands available.

One more method
In the maintain session(ttadv2100m000) , click on change key and make your new index as sort "1" . When you open the session , it will by default be sorted on this index. When you zoom(binocular) , search key code will appear as one of the option
