There is a requirement to create ASN EDI 856 and there are 2 additional fields I need to added to the EDI 856 header information from the Load table "whinh440". The Standard doesn't have this fields. I am trying to do by making changed to the dll "whinhdll4231" by reading the values in this dll. Still I am not able to populate it in the EDI message, the position which i added new are blank. I have put the two new fields in the EDI 856 Messsage header.
Can any one help me in getting this right? Is there anything I am missing to create or modify?

I have learned that you can add custom fields in the applicable table(s) and they will go out with no problems. However, for incoming information, Baan EDI has most of the applicable table's fields defined in their DLL, but unless you have Baan source code you can not modify the DLL to pull in your new fields.

Please note I'm speaking from the Baan IVc4 version not Baan5.
