Hi all,

I created a new report, and included the special field 'Date' in the header. When compiling I receive the following error: "'r.todayl$' not declared". When I take out the field 'Date' it compiles fine. What am I missing? Do I have to add a library?

Thanks in advance,

En.

You should not have to add in a library. Can you compile existing reports that use this "special date field"? Have you installed any tools patches or porting sets lately?

Hi Mark,

I have not installed any new tools patches nor porting sets. I can compile other reports which use 'Date' with no problem.

What else could be different from this report and other reports??? Does this report contain a script?

You can try copying another header layout into this report, just to see if that date field compiles that way. I guess there could be something corrupt on this report, but I am not sure what.

this is a well known error - check the stprepdll and bic_repgen versions you will prob need newer ones.
