We start our Baan since year 2000 ,and we never do housekeeping before.
I think because of this,our Baan is slow.

1. May I know,how frequent you all do housekeeping?
2. How many years record you all keep in the Baan server?
3. For the record you all purge,did you guy keep it in other
place,or totally delete it?

4. Can anybody teach me how to do housekeeping?
Please guide me.

5. before do housekeeping,is there any thing tht I need to
consider?

I would check out the Archiving Forum (http://www.baanboard.com/baanboard/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=32). But we have been on Baan since 99 and have not archived any data. We do not have any performance problems. And yes sometimes the programs use incorrect indexes or searches. You would not notice this with small tables and may only showup after the tables grow. You can use logging to find some of the problems and maybe even compiling in profile mode(that is if you have source).
